Das Allan Memorial Institute (AMI; French: Institut Allan Memorial), umgangssprachlich auch als the Allan' bekannt, ist ein ehemaliges psychiatrisches Krankenhaus und Forschungsinstitut in der Pine Avenue West 1025 in Montreal, Kanada.
Es befindet sich am Hang des Mount Royal auf dem Campus der McGill University im Stadtzentrum, der ehemaligen Golden Square Mile von Montreal. Es wurde in Erinnerung an Sir Hugh Allan benannt, in dessen ehemaligem Herrenhaus Ravenscrag es untergebracht ist.
Die Notaufnahme des Allan Memorial und die Nutzung als psychiatrisches Krankenhaus wurden 2015 eingestellt, als eine neue, moderne psychiatrische Abteilung im Montreal General Hospital eröffnet wurde.
Das Gebäude beherbergt derzeit ambulante psychiatrische Dienste des Montreal General Hospital, das zum McGill University Health Centre gehört.
Das Institut ist auch für seine Rolle im Projekt MKUltra der CIA bekannt, einer Initiative zur Entwicklung drogeninduzierter Gedankenkontrolle. Die MKUltra-Experimente wurden am Institut zwischen 1957 und 1964 von seinem Gründungsdirektor, Donald Ewen Cameron, durchgeführt.
